While others have been taking a well earned rest and a couple of weeks off from cricket - these 7 young players have been hard at it. Bentleigh Uniting CC are very proud of our junior representative players for season 20/21, flying the BUCC flag across multiple carnivals, grades and ages. It has been many years since we have had such a large contingent.
We have 4 players representing SECA in the annual VMCU (Victorian Metropolitan Cricket Union) carnivals this year. Noah Montgomery in the U12 Keith Mitchell Shield, Sophie James in the U16 Mel Jones Shield, Finn Gleeson in the U16 Jim Bietzel Shield (turf) & Charlie Davidson in the U16 Keith Mackay Shield.
We also have 3 players in the VSDCA (Victorian Sub District Cricket Association) JG Craig Shield (formerly Hatch) turf competition. Aaron Swann (Moorabbin), Kane Gleeson & Connor Montgomery (Oakleigh).
And doesn't our illustrious leader look proud!!

to all of them for their hard work and commitment. Their efforts inspire others, bring a wealth of knowledge and experience back to our club, and are a testament to what we strive for at Bentleigh Uniting.

This Sunday will be a busy day as U12 Mitchell Shield & both the U16 Boys sides have made the grand finals, and our 3 Craig Shield players are up against each other in the last round the tournament. Keith Mitchell Shield is at Victory Park at 10.00am, Jim Beitzel Shield is at Walter Galt Reserve at 10.30am, Keith Mackay is at LePage Reserve at 10.00am, and Oakeligh take on Moorabbin at Moorleigh Reserve at 10.00am. Get along in your colours and support these players in their endeavours
